Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa and the Boothbay Harbor Region are recognized by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the “Top 20 Reunion Destinations in the United States”.
The best reunions are like summer camp – a place to connect with old friends and new, a place to share experiences and – here at Spruce Point — a place to create “oceanside memories made in Maine.” The goal is to make everyone attending the reunion glad they came, giving adults and kids the opportunity to have fun and maybe fall in love with Boothbay the way our families have. There’s nothing like seeing that light of discovery go on in a kid’s eyes – and parents’ too – when he sees a live lobster or campfire for the first time. We like making that kind of magical memory here.
Activities on Land, Activities on Water, Children’s Programs, the locally fished, farmed and harvested tastes of Maine. We can curate your experience so you can sit back and enjoy your stay, along with everyone else

Spruce Point Inn started crafting oceanside memories made in Maine back in 1892 when the building that’s now the Main Inn was a private fishing camp. Over the decades, we have retained that authentic experience, designed to give great minds a break – and inspiration. In the 21st century, as in the 19th, Spruce Point Inn is a place for gathering colleagues together to enjoy the same unspoiled views, sea air and unhurried ease that’s hard to find.
Today you’ll find echoes of our past in the Main Inn that’s filled with the character of the classic Maine shore resort — wood floors, bead-board wainscoting and porch ceilings painted a soothing sky blue with sun and sea air streaming through the windows. With its eight guestrooms and suites, the Inn’s two restaurants, a gameroom and the bright, breezy reception area, the Main Inn is a focal point where you’ll find generations of families gathering, as they have for over 100 years. In the lodges, townhomes and cottages nestled among the pines you’ll find the perfect arrangements for accommodating your group.
Spruce Point Inn Resort is a place where you can work and relax secure in the knowledge that your needs – luxury guestrooms, ocean views and locally fished farmed and gathered foods – will be met. Situated in a gated community that maintains a long-standing tradition of privacy and discretion, Spruce Point Inn carries a heritage of connected hospitality into the 21st century.
Boothbay Harbor summer colonies have made a name for the destination since the 1870s. Prized among them, SPI offers the same unspoiled views the original inhabitants, sportsmen and notables enjoyed for generations.
HISTORIC INN: The orginal classic Down East wood-frame Inn still stands, now containing eight guestrooms, three restaurants, a gameroom and the character of the classic Maine shore resort.
LODGE ROOMS are of a more recent vintage, designed and decorated to maintain the classic cottage feel of the resort.
COTTAGE ROOMS feature coastal cottage decor and private porches.
CONTEMPORARY 2- AND 3-BEDROOM TOWNHOUSES offer views of the woodlands or landscaped grounds.
