Swimming

The heated fresh water resort pool is one of the favored children’s program activities.

Nature, Arts, Science, and Crafts

Kids explore, create and have an adventure while their parents enjoy some time to themselves.

Geocaching on the Trails

Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunt using a GPS device. You will navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and attempt to find the geocache hidden at that location. We have geocaches hidden out on our hiking trails here at SPI. Stop by the Front Desk to sign out a GPS unit and hunt for the caches yourself!

S’mores

There is nothing like a classic wood-burning fire. In June, September and October on Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 6:30 – 8:30 pm and in July and August, daily from 7 – 9 pm, around the Inn’s fire pit, guests enjoy a relaxing end to the days activities with an old-fashioned s’more (s). This is often the highlight of the day so leave some room after dinner to savor the warmth of a great outdoor fire with family and friends.

S’mores fixings, coffee, and waters are complimentary.

Lighthouse Recreation Hall

The Lighthouse Children’s Program and Recreation Hall (est 1930’s) “disconnects” and relaxes even the most “connected” in your family. From old-fashioned pin-ball, “the claw”, ping pong and air hockey to backgammon, chess, and checkers – the Lighthouse is a great choice for family-time. Choose a puzzle or board game and just enjoy. And, feel free to take a game back to your accommodation.

Adjacent to the Lighthouse are the original resort shuffleboard courts and lawn games like wiffle ball, badminton, croquet, horseshoes, and volleyball to name a few.

On-site hiking

Take a stroll through SPI’s hiking trails and learn a little bit of Spruce Point Inn’s history.

Fairy Houses

Take an hour with your child and get creative building a fairy house in SPI’s fairy village.
