Drew Strout
General Manager
In 2013, Drew was hired by Pyramid Hotel Group as the GM of Point Lookout Resort & Conference Center, and while at the helm for nearly 7 years directed the repositioning of the former corporate retreat to become one of the top resort destinations in the State of Maine. Drew has held various executive roles at New England destination resorts and has held active roles with New England Inns & Resorts, Hospitality Maine as well as served on several boards and committees both locally and regionally. Drew also invested a couple of years as a hospitality consultant as President of Mindful Hospitality Solutions LLC but missed the resort operations environment. In the fall of 2022, Drew accepted the role as GM at the prestigious Spruce Point Inn Resort and Spa in beautiful Boothbay Harbor, Maine and is in the midst of preparing for opening the Spring of 2023. Drew is a native Mainer who is passionate about community engagement and working in a passionate hospitality-based envionment.
SallyAnn Chandler
Director of Sales
Hello, my name is SallyAnn Chandler and I am truly honored to be the new Director of Sales at Spruce Point Inn in beautiful Boothbay Harbor! I have been to this property many times over the years when visiting our son, daughter-in-law and grandson in Maine. Now to sell the property I love so much is absolutely a dream come true! Prior to relocating to Maine, I was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Hilton Blue Ridge Shadows Golf Resort in Front Royal, VA.
My husband, Doug, and I are super excited to be in Maine and I am absolutely honored to be part of this incredible Spruce Point Inn team.

Hi guys! My name is Ixcel Russo, I recently got this amazing promotion to be the Reservations Coordinator for spruce point inn! I was previously working for another hotel in the company called Cardozo hotel as a Front desk agent. I graduated from Florida international university with a bachelor's degree in hospitality. I am born and raised in Miami and my parents are from Nicaragua. I have a beautiful son named Massimo! I am beyond thankful and excited to work with this amazing team Spruce point in!

Schedules and Compensation
The Spruce Point Inn Resort & Spa is open from May through October, and we expect to be busy from opening day until closing. Schedules will be a minimum 35 hours per week and overtime will be available based on need. Schedules and wages vary by position and department. Spruce Point Inn offers competitive wages at or above the prevailing wage.
Accommodations
The Spruce Point Inn offers on site accommodations to its employees. Located on the woodland edge by the Pemaquid Building, our staff enjoys a fully furnished dormitory with a community kitchen and living area. The fee varies by number of occupants per room and includes all utilities.
We also have off-site housing options available. Off-site housing in an apartment or private home is available for 2023 on a first-come basis through the resort. We offer daily shuttle service for all shifts for those living off-property. Please inquire early if you are interested in living off-site.
